Notes
The amount of protein powder you use will alter the texture!•If you want a thick Dole Whip with extra protein, use 50 grams (a bit more than 1 1/2 scoops) of vanilla whey isolate.•If you want a lighter, fluffier texture (and a little less protein), use about 30 grams (or 1 scoop) of protein powder (roughly 30 grams--varies by brand). The different protein content makes for a texture change. If you do not finish the whole pint at once, flatten the top with the back of your spoon before putting it in the freezer again. When ready to eat again, spin it on Lite ice cream. You can also put the pint container in the microwave for 30-seconds to get the leftover Dole whip soft enough to eat. It will be scoopable with a spoon at that point, but it will not be as creamy as it is after using the Ninja Creami ice cream maker.
