Ingredients

  • 16 Hawaiian Sweet Dinner Rolls
  • 1 pound Sliced Deli Roast Beef
  • 8 ounce Thin Sliced Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Dried Minced Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • Prepared Horseradish Sauce for Dipping - see notes for my homemade recipe

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Remove your Hawaiian dinner rolls from their package, but keep them together as a block. Use a large bread knife to cut through the center of all the rolls from one edge to the other. Place the bottom half of the dinner roll block into the 9x13 pan.

  • Layer half of your cheese slices evenly on top of the Hawaiian roll bottoms.
8 ounce Thin Sliced Cheddar Cheese
  • Take your slices of roast beef and layer them on top of the cheese. I like to fold each slice of roast beef into quarters and place it on each individual bun to make slicing easier, but you may also choose to layer them as flat slices.
1 pound Sliced Deli Roast Beef
  • Take the other half of the sliced cheddar cheese and place them in an even layer on top of the roast beef. Top the cheese with the top halves of the Hawaiian buns.
8 ounce Thin Sliced Cheddar Cheese
  • Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish. I like to do 30 seconds first, stir, and then do 5 to 10-second intervals to prevent splattering.
    4 tablespoon Butter
  • To the bowl of melted butter, add the dried minced onion, poppy seeds, sea salt, Worcestershire sauce, and dijon mustard. Whisk together to evenly combine.
1 1/2 tablespoon Dried Minced Onion, 1 tablespoon Poppy Seeds, 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt, 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of the sliders. Use a rubber spatula to spread the mixture around as needed.
  • Cover the sliders with foil and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Remove the foil from the sliders after the first 15 minutes of baking.
  • Slice apart the sliders and serve with my zesty horseradish yogurt sauce!
