Bison Stew with Autumn Spices

This nutritious and delicious one pot meal is perfect for a chilly fall evening.

Gather Ingredients

Take out your slow cooker and plug it in. Then gather your bison stew meat, onion, celery, carrots, potatoes, garlic, broth, balsamic vinegar, and spices.

Seer & Saute

Brown your stew meat, dice your onion, and mince your garlic. Cook until meat is brown and the veggies are soft & fragrant.

Add Broth

Add your beef broth with a tbsp of balsamic vinegar for acidity. Rinse the hulled barley and add it to the pot.

Veggies & Spices

Chop your carrots & celery. Add them to the pot along with the turmeric, paprika, oregano, salt & pepper, and cinnamon.
